| Clearing Partners: | For dogs that already have their licence and can be used as clearing partners. |
For newcomers with Whippets and Italian Greyhounds, these breeds are separated into two categories, ‘standard’ and ‘sprinter’. This has nothing to do with the speed of the dog, it is categories for the height.
All whippets and Italian Greyhounds are measured officially prior to licences being issued, however we ask all owners to use their best estimate when entering so we can assure the appropriate partner dog is used during any paired trial.
| Whippet | |
| Standard (Dogs) | Max: 51 cm |
| Standard (Bitches) | Max: 48 cm |
| Sprinter (Dogs) | Max: 56 cm |
| Sprinter (Bitches) | Max: 52 cm |
| Italian Greyhound | |
| Standard (Dogs & Bitches) | Max: 38 cm |
| Sprinter (Dogs & Bitches) | Max: 41 cm |

Some of you will have heard at the AGM that we were looking into a new program that will handle entries and scoring at our events. In preparation for this change we are asking members to register on the website (https://coursing24.eu/) and upload their dogs details (including your dog’s current licence). It is fairly straightforward. Please use the handy guide:
As with all changes like this we know they can be tricky to navigate and we will help wherever we can. Please email the club and we will be happy to help.
UKSS AGM on February 8th at 10.30am.
